Q: How does your Fee Structure work?
A: Fees are calculated as a percentage of payments received. Unlike other providers that charge on turnover, we believe the job is only complete when your money is in your bank account. The agreed percentage is negotiated with you prior to our services commencing.
We are therefore committed to bill accurately and recover fees speedily. “Doctor, if you don’t get paid, we don’t get paid!”
Q: Are there any hidden fee’s?
A: No, there are absolutely no additional or hidden costs and absolutely no annual increases.
Doctors joining SIMS eliminate the following direct practice costs not often taken into account:
- A professional person to do your billing
- Postage of accounts to patients at R2.80 per account
- Stationary costs
- Software and EDI Switching fees to Medical Aids
- Telephone costs for follow up on all outstanding amounts with patients and medical Aids
ITC listings and even client information forms, customized to your practise is all included in the pre-agreed percentage structure.
Q: If SIMS is setting up my Practice in the FREE 3 month trial period, what makes this offer viable to you as a Medical Practitioner?
A: That’s correct we will set your practice up and let you get settled without charging you as we are confident that this will be a long term partnership.
Q: How does SIMS collect my data?
A: Your DATA is collected and returned via a courier service at our expense. If locally based, our driver collects and returns direct from and to your practice. Electronic options are available on request.
Q: What is the time-frame of managing and returning my data?
A: Once we receive your DATA, it is immediately captured onto our system and returned to your practice; which is between 2 to 48 hours. If you prefer, we can return your data to you electronically.
Q: What reports can I expect?
A: An End-of-day report is returned to your Practise along with your data. At the end of every month, we provide you with a Debtors Age Analysis, an in-depth Practice Turnover report and a detailed patient list with our recorded comments. Customized reports are available on request.
Q: What if I have queries?
A: Your queries are welcome at any time. We attach a query form when we send your daily report, which you may return, or simply use email, fax or give us a call. Your queries can also be handled on-line via our website.
Q: Does the SIMS service require additional work for my accountant?
A: No, as a matter of fact, our reports are of such a standard that they can be given directly to your accountants at month end and it will make their job easier.
Q: How often is my Patient list contacted?
A: Each Doctors entire patient list is phoned on a monthly basis and we record comments related directly from the patient and medical aid, supplying you with this detailed Patient List Report at the end of every month.
